Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are currently in talks with PSV Eindhoven and AC Milan over a potential double signing in the latter stages of the January transfer window.
PSV attacker Steven Bergwijn continues to be linked with a move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, while Milan forward Krzysztof Piatek is thought to be a target in the final third due to Harry Kane’s long-term absence.
Piatek has only managed four Serie A goals for Milan this season but would provide Jose Mourinho with another body in a key area of the field.
Bergwijn, meanwhile, has managed six goals and 13 assists in 29 appearances for his Dutch club during the 2019/20 campaign.
Tottenham have until Friday evening to secure new signings, and it would be fair to say that the London club are in a race against the clock.

However, according to Romano, talks over a potential double deal are very much in progress, as shown by the tweet below:
