The Oldham-born billionaire has been spotted while attempting to complete the 26.2-mile circuit of England's capital – just hours before United are set to face Coventry City in the FA Cup semi-final. The 71-year-old is reportedly aiming to beat his personal record of four hours and 32 minutes across the distance.

According to the Daily Mail, Ratcliffe is aiming to finish the marathon and then race to Wembley Stadium to watch United in action as fast as possible. The INEOS chief, who purchased a 25 percent stake in the club earlier in the year, is aiming to make it for the second half of the game and will be joined by both Joel and Avram Glazer. The game is set to kick-off at 3:30pm UK time.

After he completes the marathon, he will be hoping he can witness Erik ten Hag's side secure a spot in the FA Cup final. The winner of the tie between United and Championship side Coventry will face Manchester City in the final. Pep Guardiola's side secured a 1-0 win against Chelsea in the other semi-final, which took place on Saturday evening.
